Professional bloggers often say that one’s “About” page should include enough information on the author to be engaging…
But I’m never comfortable with giving out any information about myself on the Internet where photos or a seemingly innocuous piece of information can be misused.
At any rate, there’s really not much to write about; I’m an older geek that’s into geeky things such as video games, sci-fi/fantasy, comic books/manga and animation— including all the geeky hobbies that go hand-in-hand with them.
Nebulous is an attempt to blog about life and the things that interest me. Like the blog’s name implies, it has no specific focus or clear-cut boundaries. It’s really about anything that catches my fancy.
I started blogging four years ago and my blog has taken many forms since then before I settled on Wordpress as my blogging platform. Currently, Nebulous is serving as more of an aggregate blog at the moment.
I have two other blogs with more focus:
anime.frikafrax.com focuses on my Japanese animation-related interests. I’ve been a long time anime fan, going on some 20-years now. Still can’t speak a lick of Japanese though.
Although the industry is in creative decline, I’m still sticking with it.
Trapped in Plastic focuses on my hobby-related activities involving collectibles, toys, plastic resin model kits and other hobby-related projects of mine.
That’s about it… Not really exciting and it’s thoroughly geeky, isn’t it?
Oh well!
