logo_no_ups_smlIf you’ve ordered something from an international vendor and had it shipped by courier, chances are you may have gotten hit with brokerage fees. These fees are extra charges levied by the courier to cover the cost of clearing the shipment through customs.

UPS has some of the highest brokerage fees in the industry.  To make matters worse, they don’t always categorize the items in your shipment correctly, meaning you could be paying far more in brokerage fees than required.
